1. Mr. Brown was formerly HCA Healthcare’s chief development officer. He also served as Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System’s senior vice president/ambulatory services CEO.
2. Mr. Brown holds a master’s in healthcare administration from San Antonio-based Trinity University. He is an American College of Healthcare Executives fellow.
3. HCA Gulf Coast acquired North Cypress Medical Center, a139-bed acute care facility, Sept. 1.
4. HCA Gulf Coast Division President Troy Villarreal said in a press release,”Jim Brown is uniquely qualified to lead North Cypress Medical Center. He has a strong background in hospital operations, a keen understanding of our strategic plan and a proven track record developing services that meet the community’s healthcare needs.”
