Henry Schein taps Brad Connett to head U.S. medical group — 6 insights

Henry Schein promoted Brad Connett to president of the company's U.S. Medical Group, a leading provider of products and services to ASCs, freestanding ERs and other alternate care sites.

Here are six insights.

1. Mr. Connett previously served as president of Henry Schein's commercial group for U.S. Medical.

2. In his new role, Mr. Connett will be responsible for the medical group's strategic direction, management, business performance, sales, marketing, operations, business development and technology solutions.

3. Mr. Connett will report to Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer David McKinley.

4. Mr. Connett joined Henry Schein in 1997 as Southeast Region vice president and became vice president of field sales in 2000.

5. Health Industry Distributors Association awarded Mr. Connett the 2014 John F. Sasen Leadership Award and Repertoire Magazine inducted him into the Medical Distribution Hall of Fame in 2016.

6. Mr. Connett has served on HIDA's board of directors since 2005, served as chairman in 2011 and helped form the organization's leadership development group.
