HCA Healthcare seeks administrator for yet-to-open Texas ASC — 4 details

HCA Healthcare is hiring a surgery center administrator to help build Brownsville (Texas) Surgery Center from the ground up.

Four details:

1. The ASC is expected to open in August at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

2. It will be the newest center in Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s ambulatory surgery division, which comprises 140-plus surgery centers jointly owned by HCA and physician partners.

3. Brownsville Surgery Center’s administrator would be charged with building the center’s reputation, overseeing resource utilization and maintaining facility policies, among other responsibilities.

4. HCA is seeking candidates with a nursing degree and at least three years of experience in a surgical environment. Strong aptitude in physician relations and talent acquisition is required.
