HCA Healthcare names successor to division president, longtime exec: 3 key points

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare named Charles Gressle president of its East Florida Division in Fort Lauderdale.

Three key points:

1. Effective Dec. 1, Mr. Gressle will replace Michael Joseph, who is retiring after 31 years with HCA Healthcare.

2. Mr. Gressle currently oversees several hospitals and divisionwide initiatives as chief administrative officer for the East Florida Division.

3. He became CAO in May after holding multiple titles within HCA, including CEO of Medical City Plano (Texas) and COO of Medical City Dallas and Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas.
