Gastro Health’s Dr. Eduardo Krajewski is West Kendall Baptist Hospital’s 2017 Physician of the Year — 3 insights

Miami-based West Kendall Baptist Hospital named Miami-based Gastro Health’s Eduardo Krajewski, MD, its 2017 Physician of the Year.

In a LinkedIn post Gastro Health CEO Alejandro Fernandez said, Dr. Krajewski was recognized by his peers and hospital staff for “exemplifying the core values of quality, service, knowledge and diversity.”

Here’s what you should know about Dr. Krajewski:

1. After earning a medical degree from Caracas, Venezuela-based Universidad Central De Venezuela, he completed an internship at New York City-based Weill Cornell Medical College and a residency at Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Krajewski then completed a fellowship at Orlando (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.

2. He specializes in performing colonoscopies, endoscopies and flexible sigmoidoscopies, among others.

3. Dr. Krajewski is also affiliated with Miami-based Bayside Surgery Center.
