CMS makes 3 leadership updates

CMS made new additions and changes to the agency's leadership team.

Here are the new staff appointments and leadership changes:

1. Paul Mango joined the office of the administrator as the chief principal deputy administrator and chief of staff. Mr. Mango previously worked for McKinsey & Company as a senior partner. He also filled leadership roles within their U.S. and global healthcare practices and served as the head of McKinsey’s U.S. center for health reform.

2. Chris Traylor joined the office of the administrator as the deputy administrator for strategic initiatives. Mr. Traylor comes to CMS with over 26 years of public sector service in the area of healthcare and social services.

3. Administrator Seema Verma promoted Brady Brookes, CMS’s current deputy chief of staff to a concurrent role as deputy administrator.
