ASC leader to know: William Wilcox of USPI

William Wilcox is the chairman and CEO of United Surgical Partners International. Joining USPI’s team in 1998, he took on the president and director roles. He has been USPI’s CEO since 2004 and has seen the company through major transitions including Tenet’s merger with USPI in 2015.

Mr. Wilcox’s leadership experience included serving as CEO of United Dental Care. He has held severak positions at Hospital Corporation of America including president of HCA’s surgery group and president and CEO of HCA’a ambulatory surgery division.
