ASC leader to know: Melissa Bushnell of AtlantiCare

Melissa Bushnell, RN, BSN, is the executive director of ambulatory surgery at Egg Harbor Township, N.J.-based AtlantiCare. During her three years in the position, she has provided leadership, oversight and direction regarding all ambulatory surgery aspects.

Her past leadership experience is extensive, serving as director of nursing surgical services for Virtua Health in Evesham Township, N.J. She was also the director of nursing for New Jersey-based Kennedy Health System.

She earned her master’s of science in nursing from Philadelphia-based Drexel University.
