1. Dr. Casden is the senior surgeon and founder of Danbury, Conn.-based Acuity Eye Care. He is also the medical director of Wilton (Conn.) Surgery Center.
2. Dr. Casden will serve on the board as an ophthalmology and intraocular surgery expert.
3. He has more than 40 years experience in the ophthalmology field.
4. Dr. Casden is an American Academy of Ophthalmology fellow.
