8 executive moves at big ASC companies — Tenet, Optum & more

Several ASC management companies announced leadership changes in early November:

Charles Gressle will become president of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare's East Florida Division in Fort Lauderdale on Dec. 1.

Dallas-based EyeCare Services Partners tapped Dakon H. Montgomery to serve as chief operating officer, effective Nov. 11. Mr. Montgomery was previously a senior vice president in HCA's ambulatory surgery division in Dallas.

Andrew Witty was promoted to Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealth Group president on Nov. 12. He will continue serving as CEO of Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Optum.

Saum Sutaria, MD, is now president of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. He will also continue serving as COO, a role he assumed earlier this year.

Regina Nethery is joining Tenet in November as vice president of investor relations.

ASC management company Regent Surgical Health appointed Beth Johnson, RN, BS, to serve as senior vice president and named Alexandra Reyes vice president of operations for the Northeast region. The Westchester, Ill.-based company also promoted Erin Petrie to vice president of Regent Revenue Cycle Management.
