Here are seven executive changes that occurred over the past month.

Longtime Aetna executive joins Surgery Partners as CFO
Thomas Cowhey began serving as Surgery Partners' executive vice president and CFO April 2. Mr. Cowhey worked for Aetna for about a decade, most recently as CFO of the company's institution business portfolio and previously as CFO of Aetna's consumer health and services business.

Tenet Healthcare promotes two
Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare promoted Monique Poessiger and Kurt Gross to new positions within the company. Ms. Poessiger is the new manager of communications for the El Paso and Rio Grande Valley regions. She is responsible for overseeing external and internal communications. Mr. Gross will serve as the group director of marketing for both regions.

HCA appoints Dr. Ravi Chari president of West Florida division
Ravi Chari, MD, will take over as president of HCA's West Florida division beginning May 1. Dr. Chari succeeds 40-year industry veteran Peter Marmerstein, who is retiring. Mr. Marmerstein became West Florida division president in 2012.

Brian Cook promoted to HCA division president
Gainesville-based North Florida Regional Medical Center's CEO Brian Cook was promoted to president of HCA's Henderson, Nev.-based Far West Division. Mr. Cook will assume the role May 1, overseeing operations for nine ASCs, eight hospitals and several outpatient locations in California and Nevada.

Trice Medical names new president
Trice Medical appointed its Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Chief Commercialization Officer Mark Foster the organization's next president. Mr. Foster will retain his CCO role. He'll assume some of the duties and responsibilities of President and CEO Jeffrey O'Donnell Sr.

Paradigm Spine expands leadership team
Paradigm Spine made four new appointments to its leadership team. The company named Francis Magee, DVM, its chief technology officer; Charlie Gilbride its executive vice president of sales and marketing; Tim Hein its vice president of sales; and Lisa Denison its vice president of marketing.

NueHealth adds 3 senior executives
Leawood, Kan.-based NueHealth Holdings named three healthcare executives to senior executive positions. The company appointed John Palumbo executive chairman, Carl King CEO and Scott C. Palecki as general counsel. All three new executives are proven leaders in the healthcare field. The privately held healthcare company partners with 10,000-plus physicians and 25 health systems to deliver around $828 million in consolidated revenue per year in 28 states.
