Zydus acquires GI drug 'Actibile' — 3 takeaways

Zydus Healthcare, a subsidiary of Cadila Healthcare, acquired gastrointestinal brand 'Actibile' from drug firm Albert David, according to The Economic Times.

1. Actibile falls in the gastroenterology segment and is used for dissolving gall bladder stones.

2. Albert David is the pharmaceutical venture of the Kothari Group, an India-based industrial group.
