Exact Sciences, the company behind Cologuard, moved from Boston to Madison in 2009. Since then, the company has upped its workforce from two to more than 400. Now, the company is planning to develop tests for a number of other cancers.
The WEDC tax incentives are contingent on Exact Sciences investing $26.26 million in capital expenditures in the state and establishing 758 new full-time jobs at an average wage f $24.47 per hour by the end of 2020, according to the report.
