What Physicians Endoscopy did this summer

The year started slow for Jamison, Pa.-based Physicians Endoscopy, but the gastroenterology-focused management company made headlines throughout the summer.  Here is everything the company did these past 90 days. 


Cleveland-based University Hospitals teamed up with Physicians Endoscopy to transition and relicense a gastroenterology-focused outpatient department into an ASC.


Physicians Endoscopy and Silver Spring, Md.-based Capital Digestive Care entered into a strategic partnership Aug. 1, which could shake up the entire gastroenterology specialty. Our story on the deal.

Physicians Endoscopy and Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Health System entered into a joint venture to open Delmarva Endoscopy Center in Ocean Pines, Md.

David Young was selected as the new CEO of the company. He previously served as president. Mr. Young elaborated on the state of the company to Becker's in August.
