Valeant adds executive vice president, loses 3 executives: 3 things to know

Laval, Quebec-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals made a series of leadership moves adding one executive and losing three others.

Here’s what you need to know.

1. Valeant named William D. Humphries the executive vice president of dermatology. Mr. Humphries is bringing more than 30 years of dermatology and specialty pharmaceutical industry experience to Valeant. He most previously served as CEO of Merz Pharma Deutschland’s North American business.

2. Executive Vice President and Company Group Chairman Anne Whitaker, CFO Bob Rosiello and Executive Vice President and Company Group Chairman Ari Kellen, MD, are all leaving Valeant.

3. Dr. Kellen and Mr. Rosiello will serve as consultants in the future.
