1. Dr. Berthiaume is a clinical assistant professor at Bedford, Maine.-based University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

2. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a residency at Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and completed his fellowship at Providence-based Brown University.

3. University Gastroenterology is Rhode Island’s largest gastroenterology practice.
