UC Los Angeles G. Oppenheimer Center for Neurobiology of Stress and Resilience Executive Director Emeran Mayer, MD, will join uBiome's medical advisory board.

1. Dr. Mayer was selected to help the company advance microbiome research and examination of how the gut microbiome influences the brain
2. He holds a number of prominent leadership positions at UCLA. In addition to leading the G. Oppenheimer Center, he leads the Digestive Disease Research Center and serves as a professor.
3. Dr. Mayer's research is centered on investigating the role of gut microbiota brain interactions in emotions, pain and obesity.
