‘U.S. News and World Report’ names the top 10 hospitals for GI

U.S. News & World Report released its 2018 Best Hospital rankings.

U.S. News listed hospitals that admitted at least 430 Medicare patients in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The outlet determined rankings based on survival, patient safety and other care-related indicators, as well as expert opinion.

Here are the top 10 hospitals for gastroenterology:

2. Cleveland Clinic
3. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles)
4. Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore)
5. Mayo Clinic-Phoenix
6. University of Michigan Hospitals (Ann Arbor)
7. UCLA Medical Center (Los Angeles)
8. Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston)
9. Mount Sinai Hospital (New York City)
10. UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside (Pittsburgh)
