Dr. Anand received his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degree at Dr. M.G.R. University, Christian Medical College, in Vellore, India. After some time working and completing an internship in Vellore, Dr. Anand underwent further training in the United States, including an internship in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Karim underwent and completed her medical training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she also finished her internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology.
