Boston Children’s Hospital was ranked as the top pediatric gastroenterology and GI surgery hospital in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

The rankings, published Sept. 15, evaluated 91 hospitals in pediatric gastroenterology based on patient outcomes including liver transplant survival and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, as well as clinical measures such as patient volume, commitment to best practices, advanced clinical staff and technologies and prevention of ICU infections.
