The envelope please — ACG awards 21 SCOPYs

The American College of Gastroenterology recognized 21 projects in its third annual SCOPY awards Oct. 15 at the World Congress of Gastroenterology at ACG2017, in Orlando, Fla.

The SCOPYs recognize service projects that encourage colorectal cancer outreach, prevention and year-round excellence. A three-judge panel determined the winners.

ACG President Carol Burke, MD, said in a release, "Year after year, the GI community demonstrates its remarkable dedication to support colorectal cancer prevention. The passion and dedication of ACG members to communicate the critical message of CRC screening and prevention is evident in every submission."
