A gastroenterologist who practiced at Marble Falls, Texas-based Baylor Scott & White Specialty Clinic died Oct. 29 after a truck struck his vehicle in Lakeway, Texas, the Daily Trib reported.
Michael Babineaux, MD, died at the scene, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Dr. Babineaux's car was struck by a 2007 Nissan Titan driven by Cameron O'Connell as he moved into the center lane to pass a vehicle in front of him.
Mr. O'Connell was taken to an area hospital with injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
