Syracuse VA Medical Center names Dr. Anand Gupta GI chief: 3 observations

Syracuse (N.Y.) VA Medical Center named Anand Gupta, MD, chief of gastroenterology, according to a report by The Post-Standard.

1. Dr. Gupta has been with the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2013.

2. He focuses on abdominal disorders, Barrett’s esophagus, celiac disease and colon cancer, among others.

3. Dr. Gupta completed postgraduate and fellowship training in gastroenterology in India and the United States.
