Test to Detect Multiple Causes of Gastroenteritis Receives FDA Approval

Luminex has produced and received FDA approval to market their xTAG Gastrointestinal Pathogen Panel that can detect 11 causes of gastroenteritis from a single patient sample.

The xTAG GPP is designed to detect parasitic, viral and bacterial causes, including Salmonella and E. coli.
