Bariatric Partners Opens New Surgery Center in Florida

Bariatric Partners, which owns and operates specialty ambulatory surgery centers with physician partners under the name JourneyLite, has announced the opening of a new ASC in North Florida, Fla.

JourneyLite of North Florida, like all JourneyLite facilities, will focus primarily on the laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding surgical procedure for the treatment of obesity.

 

Two surgeons will bring bariatric and other types of cases to the surgery center — Robert Cywes, MD, and Michael Baptista, MD, according to a news release.
