Here’s what you should know:
1. Researchers enrolled 47 cases at three sites in Europe. The Pure-Vu system was used in subjects with partially prepared colons who took two 10 mg Bisacodyls and had diet restrictions before the procedure.
2. The Pure-Vu system significantly increased the number of subjects with an “adequate” cleansing level for all three colon segments. After using the Pure-Vu system, physicians reached and visualized the cecum in 46 of 47 cases.
3. Pure-Vu CEO Tim Moran said, “We are pleased to have the data from our European clinical feasibility study selected for publication in this prestigious, peer-reviewed journal. The data bolsters our confidence in the Pure-Vu System’s ability to successfully cleanse the colon to a high level regardless of the adequacy of the pre-procedural prep.”
