St. Francis Regional, Ridgeview medical centers come together for GI care: 4 things to know

St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, Minn., and Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minn., are collaborating on a new gastrointestinal program, according to a Shakopee Valley News report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Ridgeview gastroenterologists will now be available to provide care on the St. Francis campus.

2. Timothy Kinney, MD, from Ridgeview was named the gastrointestinal medical director at St. Francis Medical Center.

3. Dr. Kinney will work with St. Francis’ Sabina Khan, MD to run Ridgeview Medical Center’s new location.

4. All the Ridgeview gastroenterologists providing care at the new location are board-certified.
