Spotlight on Gastroenterologist: Dr. James Weber

James Weber, MD, is a gastroenterologist with and president of Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in Keller, Texas. The organization is one of the largest gastroenterology groups in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dr. Weber’s areas of interest include colorectal cancer prevention and inflammatory bowel disease.

He received a degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University, then obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, then completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center.

He is an active member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, as well as the Texas and Tarrant County Medical Associations.
