Southern New Hampshire Health adds GI Genius module

Nashua-based Southern New Hampshire Health has become the first system in the region to add Medtronic’s GI Genius intelligent endoscopy module, according to a Nov. 20 report from The Biz Link.

Patients can now schedule a GI Genius-assisted colonoscopy at the system’s Foundation Gastroenterology

GI Genius gives physicians the ability to detect cancerous polyps in real time using advanced AI software. Research has shown that GI Genius increases adenoma detection rates by 14.4%, according to Medtronic’s website.
