Sandler-Kenner Foundation Gives $500k Donation to Mayo Clinic for Pancreatic Cancer Research

The Sandler-Kenner Foundation has announced it will give Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., a $500,000, multi-year donation to help fund a study of the early detection of pancreatic cancer.

The Examination of the Pancreas in New Diabetes Trial is being led by Mayo Clinic board-certified gastroenterologist Suresh Chari, MD.

The EXPAND trail involves examining 15 years of research on the relationship between pancreatic cancer and diabetes.
