1. The Infina Connect solution is a Software-as-a-Service referral coordination solution.
2. It aims to enable electronic referrals among the ACO provider members.
3. Infina Connect CEO Mark Hefner notes that ICC Direct leverages both the secure messaging capability built into all 2014 edition certified EHRs and access to the Surescripts Clinical Direct Messaging solution.
4. Rolling out the ICC Direct application will likely help Raleigh Medical Group achieve the 10 percent requirement in 10 days out of its 90-day reporting period for meaningful use, according to Mr. Hefner.
5. Raleigh Medical Group staff and physicians noted that the new software has helped streamline referral processes.
