Physicians Endoscopy and Capital Digestive Care entered into a strategic partnership Aug. 1, which saw the two companies form a management platform.

Bausch Health subsidiary Salix Pharmaceuticals settled an intellectual property case against Teva Pharmaceuticals over Salix's ulcerative colitis drug Apriso.

CRH Medical continues to bring in the revenue in 2019, posting $30.5 million in second quarter revenues, up from $27.3 million in the same period last year.

Assembly Biosciences named former Gilead Sciences Chief Scientific Officer John McHutchison, MD, its new president and CEO, succeeding company co-founder Derek Small.
