Pentax received the German Innovation Award for its DEC duodenoscope’s disposable design elements, as well as an honor from the ESGE Days Congress for its red Density Program, which supports physicians in the endoscopic assessment of ulcerative colitis.
Pentax also published a series of lectures from the “Reducing the risk of infection in ERCP” symposium, which covered the challenges of performing biliopancreatic procedures and reducing the risk of cross contamination in endoscope reprocessing.
