PENTAX Medical launches new HD endoscopes: 4 things to know

PENTAX Medical has launched its i10 Series HD+ Endoscopes in the United States and Canada.

Here are four things to know about the new endoscopes.

•    The scopes are designed to provide high resolution images for colonoscopy and gastroscopy procedures.
•    PENTAX announced the launch during the America College of Gastroenterology’s 78th Annual Scientific Meeting in Philadelphia. PENTAX is showcasing the new scopes at the meeting this week.
•    The endoscopes have enhanced therapeutic capabilities such as larger instrument channels, shorter bending sections and slimmer outer diameter scopes.
•    The i10 Series HD+ Endoscopes include 140-degree Effective Field of View and the new CloseFocus Examination Range feature.
