PENTAX Medical, Hitachi-Aloka Medical Continue Partnership to Pursue Endoscopic Ultrasound Systems Development

PENTAX Medical, a Montvale, N.J.-based endoscopic imaging company, has announced its reaffirmed partnership with Hitachi-Aloka Medical, Wallingford, Conn.-based diagnostic ultrasound company, will focus on the development of endoscopic ultrasound systems.

The renewed collaborative efforts of the two companies has coincided with the release of the launch of PENTAX Medical’s HI VISION Preirus, which will be displayed at Digestive Disease Week in Orlando, Fla., May 18 to 21.

Through the two companies combined efforts, the HI VISION Preirus ultrasound scanner is designed to provide physicians with enhanced optical and ultrasonic visualization.
