PeaceHealth adds internist, GI physician assistant — 3 insights

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth Medical Group added an internist and a gastroenterology-focused physician assistant to its Bellingham, Wash.-based practices, The Bellingham Business Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Samiollah Gholam, MD, joined PeaceHealth’s internal medicine team.

2. Dr. Gholam earned his medical degree from Portsmouth, Dominica-based Ross University School of Medicine.

3. June Parker, PA-C, joined the gastroenterology team. She has a masters degree in physician assistant studies from Norfolk-based Eastern Virginia School.
