Manitowoc, Wis.-based Renovo Health has opened a new endoscopy and surgery center, according to a July 16 report from CBS affiliate WFRV.

The Gastroenterology Associates of Central Florida ––also known as the Center for Digestive Health –– has notified the Attorney General of Massachusetts of a data breach in its system on May 29.

Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health, which covers North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin, has hired gastroenterologist Kevin Karls, MD, at its Essentia Health-Mid Dakota Bismark (N.D) 9th Street Clinic. 

Gastroenterology group management company GI Alliance is holding its position as the largest network of GI providers in the U.S., with over 300 practices in its network and more than 900 affiliated providers in 2024. 

Two major gastroenterology organizations have criticized CMS' proposal to cut physician pay 2.8% in its physician fee schedule for 2025.
