There are multiple disruptors in the gastroenterology field today. Some are making patient care better, while others will create roadblocks for years to come.

Adenoma detection is significantly higher using computer-aided colonoscopy than high-definition white light colonoscopy, according to a new study from Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Patients in France diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer after the country's first COVID-19 lockdown had a higher tumor burden than those diagnosed before the lockdown, according to an analysis published in JAMA Network Open.
