The knife will be on display at Digestive Disease Week, June 2 to June 5 in Washington, D.C.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The knife uses submucosal injection facilitating safe and reliable ESD performance. This also eliminates the need to change devices, which can lead to shorter procedure times.

2. DualKnife J is the successor to the original DualKnife. The new knife also provides two-step knife length adjustment, allowing it to be extended to 2mm or retracted to .1mm.

3. DualKnife is the best-selling ESD knife in the U.S.

4. Olympus America Endoscopy Division Group Vice President Kurt Heine said, “We expect DualKnife J to be a driver in bringing more practices into the value-based paradigm of minimally invasive procedures, which help reduce costs while improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.”
