NYU Langone names Dr. Feza Remzi director of the IBD center: 3 notes

Feza Remzi, MD, has been named the director of NYU Langone Medical Center’s inflammatory bowel disease center in New York City.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Remzi:

1. He is a colorectal surgeon, board certified in both general surgery and colorectal surgery.

2. Prior to joining NYU Langone Medical Center, he practiced at the Cleveland Clinic, where he served as the department of colorectal surgery chair.

3. He earned his medical degree at Hacettepe University Medical School in Turkey. He went on to do a general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic, where he also completed his colon and rectal surgery fellowship.
