Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has added Novant Health Gastroenterology – Coastal Carolina, located in Hardeeville, S.C., to its network.
The practice is led by Madeline Russell, MD, who is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, according to a June 10 news release from Novant Health.
The clinic manages and treats conditions including abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcers, gallbladder concerns and liver concerns.
Dr. Russel has more than 14 years of experience. She completed her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center/Mercer School of Medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at Atrium Health Carolina Medical Center, the release said.
