Northwestern Medicine has opened a $15 million Center for Advanced Endoscopy at its Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill., a Chicago suburb, according to an April 30 news release.

The 20,000-square-foot center is led by Amrita Sethi, MD, an internationally recognized endoscopist serving as medical director, and features advanced imaging, flexible robotics and AI-enabled diagnostics. As one of only a few stand-alone advanced endoscopy sites in the U.S., the center is expected to draw patients nationally and internationally for complex GI, pancreatic, biliary and early-stage cancer conditions.

The center builds on Northwestern Medicine’s broader investment in digestive health, including the 2023 launch of a liver transplant service at Central DuPage Hospital.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
