Gastroenterologist Dr. Gaston Saliou-Diallo Retires

Gastroenterologist Gaston Saliou-Diallo, MD, who practiced out of Leavenworth, Kan., has retired, according to Leavenworth Times report.

The publication conducts a five question Q&A with the physician, who said he also practiced gastroenterology in Montreal, Canada, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Kansas City, Kan. and Mo., and Atchison and Horton, Kan.

 

The questions touch on a number of areas, including why he chose to specialize in gastroenterology, the most challenge ailments to diagnose and treat, how the specialty has changed during his career and what he has found most rewarding as a gastroenterologist.
