On or about March 6, 2026, Gastroenterology & Hepatology of Central New York experienced a data security incident with an unauthorized party accessing certain systems of its network environment, according to a recent notice from the practice.
Information that may have been impacted includes including full names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical record numbers, phone numbers and addresses.
At this time, the organization has no evidence that there has been any fraud or identity theft as a result of the incident, the notice said.
