Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital named gastroenterologist Howard P. Fritz, MD, CMO and vice president of medical affairs, according to the Post Star.

1. Dr. Fritz succeeds Robert Pringle , MD, who served as interim CMO as the hospital looked for candidates.
2. In his new role, Dr. Fritz will be responsible for clinical operations, physician recruitment, quality and strategic planning.
