New study supports use of Stretta for GERD treatment

A new study published in the Clinical Journal of Gastroenterology has examined various endoscopic techniques for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.

The study authors concluded that Stretta, a non-ablative radiofrequency treatment for GERD, was safe, effective and durable. The study examined multiple alternatives to proton pump inhibitor therapy and surgery.
