New study: Incidence of CRC increases with age

A new study has found that colorectal cancer diagnoses increased in patients more than 70 years old, compared to patients ages 55 to 69 years old, according to a Medscape report.

Previous studies have suggested that CRC incidence decreases with age. The study authors concluded that more research was needed to analyze the risks and benefits of colonoscopy surveillance by age.
