New Breath Test Offers Easier Screening for Stomach Cancer

Hossam Haick, professor in the chemical engineering and nanotechnology department of the Israel Institute of Technology, and a team of researchers have conducted a pilot study of a breath test that offers an alternative to endoscopy as a stomach cancer screening tool, according to a Medical News Today report.

Mr. Haick has been studying the application of nanoparticle sensors as a detection tool for stomach cancer and a number of different diseases.
