Motus GI named Jeff Hutchison vice president of U.S. sales and commercial operations.
Here's what you should know:
1. Mr. Hutchison will build the company's U.S. sales organization and drive prelaunch activities.
2. Motus plans to launch its Pure-Vu colonoscopy preparation system in the U.S. in 2019.
3. Mr. Hutchinson comes to Motus after serving as Bio2 Medical's vice president of U.S. sales. He also had a tenure at Medtronic GI Solutions.
4. Motus GI CEO Mark Pomeranz said, "Jeff is an experienced and senior sales leader in the GI space who was a key player in the launch and commercial build out of B RRX prior to its acquisition by Covidien as well as its continued growth under Covidien and then Medtronic. He knows how to build and lead a sales organization to drive new market opportunities in the GI space, and that is exactly why he is joining Motus GI now."
