Minnesota Safety Council recognizes Takeda for workplace safety — 4 key notes

The Minnesota Safety Council recognized Takeda Pharmaceuticals for excellence in workplace safety.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Takeda acquired a facility in Brooklyn Park, Minn. in 2015.

2. Since its acquisition, Takeda invested more than $75 million in modifications and upgrades. Takeda is dedicating more than one million man hours to ready the plant for full production.

3. Takeda has added 120 positions in Brooklyn Park since the acquisition, and is planning to hire 80 more workers over the next to years.

4. Takeda expects the facility to be fully functional in 2019.
